Hotel Iroquois is a small deluxe hotel and fine dining restaurant on northern Michigan's Mackinac Island. Hotel Iroquois enjoys an ideal location on Mackinac Island, overlooking the beautiful Straits of Mackinac. Awarded 1997 and 2000 Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List recognition, the hotel ranks among the best hotels in the world. Hotel Iroquois recently celebrated its 100th year.
The Carriage House dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the Great Lakes Huron and Michigan as well as the Mackinac Island marine harbor. The Carriage House has been featured in Gourmet magazine and is well known for its fine food, service and superior lakefront setting.

Beautiful Housing and Partial Board Available:
Hotel Iroquois reserves apartment-style housing for their staff. It is located close to the hotel. We recommend bringing a bicycle with a basket and lock for your transportation on the Island. You may also purchase a bicycle on the Island.
Each apartment has five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and two twin beds. Apartments also have a kitchen area complete with a microwave, sink and refrigerator. Living room and dining area are shared by all persons living in that apartment.
The commissary provides a community room with color TV, VCR, regulation size pool table, coin-operated laundry equipment and internet access.
We also provide partial board for our staff. Dinner is prepared for you in our staff kitchen and served at prescribed times. We make every effort to provide well-balanced and nutritious meals.
There is a nominal fee for room and partial board.
Mackinac Island is located in the Straits of Mackinac, between Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas. Mackinac Island is easy to reach by car, boat or plane. For those who arrive by automobile, there is frequent ferry service to the Island from both Mackinaw City and St. Ignace with ample seasonal parking facilities.
Commercial airlines from Detroit provide daily service to the Pellston Airport just 12 miles south of the Mackinaw City.
Taxi service between the Pellston Airport and Mackinac City ferry docks is available. As no cars are allowed on the Island, the general mode of transportation is walking, bicycling or horse-drawn carriage taxi's. We recommend bringing your own bicycle, if possible.
