Celebrating Halloween and the Haunts of Mackinac Island
Todd Clements has been incredibly busy for the past 25 years. He’s investigated the Island’s ghosts and researched hundreds of local paranormal tales. He is the author of two popular books, “Haunts of Mackinac: Ghost Stories, Legends, and Tragic Tales of Mackinac Island,” and “Haunts of Mackinac: The Next Chapter,” about his “Haunts of Mackinac” ghost tours and his own experiences with the spirit world. His first exposure to the paranormal was here as a young boy on a family vacation, and he was hooked for life on the Island, and its ghosts. Find out more by signing up for the tour.
Next, dress up in your favorite Halloween duds for our annual Halloween celebration on October 26-28. Smart shoppers will be heading downtown for some terrific bargains from local merchants, and the little ones will make their way down Market and Main streets for trick-or-treating. Live entertainment at downtown bars will keep the party groove going, and several of these, such as the Pink Pony, and the Gate House, will have costume contests.
